Midlife Isn’t a Crisis. It’s a Catalyst.

At 45, I got fired.
Not because I was underperforming… but because I got blackout drunk at a work event and torched the whole thing on purpose. The truth is, I was unraveling … quietly, dangerously and nobody saw it.
One year before, I had blown the whistle in a ‘Me Too’ case at my previous job. Thirteen people lost their jobs, including my boss. I did the right thing, but it came at a high cost. I went into hiding for eight months. I was afraid for my safety. I lost friends. I lost my grip. And eventually… I lost myself.
What followed was a slow slide into a wine and Xanax spiral that almost swallowed me whole.
But that firing?
That rock-bottom moment?
It cracked me open.
Not in a romantic, glow-up kind of way. In a gritty, get honest or stay stuck forever kind of way.
The Lie of “Too Late”
We’ve been told midlife is a slow fade.
That reinvention is for the bold twenty-somethings… not the women with crow’s feet and a closet full of life experience, and a midlife midsection.
But here’s what I know now…
Midlife is the beginning of the real story.
The one you write when you’re finally done pretending.

Didn’t Have a Plan. But I Had a Choice.
At 47, I started a business.
I was still rebuilding… still healing… still trying to remember who I was before everything fell apart.
But I knew one thing: I couldn’t go back to the life I had.
I needed to build something that felt like me. So I started helping others. I shared my story. I coached from experience, not perfection. And slowly, something remarkable happened…
I came back to life.
What Happened Next
I built a multiple 6-figure coaching business from scratch.
No niche. No viral moment. No flawless “personal brand.”
Just truth. Just consistency. Just the courage to show up.
I began guiding other women, especially in midlife – to turn their wisdom into wealth, their experiences into offerings, their past into power. Because when you stop hiding… your whole life begins to move.
Why Midlife Is the Right Time to Begin
You don’t need to be fearless. You just need to be done with shrinking.
Midlife gives you clarity… boundaries… perspective.
You’ve lived enough to know what matters — and what no longer fits.
That’s not a setback. That’s your edge.
For the Woman Who’s Been Through
It Maybe you’re still in the middle of your own quiet reckoning.
Maybe you’ve made mistakes. Sabotaged yourself. Spiraled. Hid.
You’re not broken.
You’re human.
And you are allowed to begin again.
You don’t need to be fully healed to help someone else. You just need to be honest.
This Isn’t a Crisis. This is a Coming Home.
Midlife isn’t the end of anything. It’s the age of awakening.
So if your soul has been whispering, there’s more, listen to it.
Start small. Start messy. Start now.
Because the business, the purpose, the freedom you crave?
It lives on the other side of your honesty.
And the moment you stop hiding…
The whole world opens up.
